The eighteenth, a majestic finishing hole, is a par 5 that measures 460 yds. from the blue tees. A properly placed tee shot will be directed to the center of the fairway, taking the water, on the right, out of play. Most players will be able to go for the green in two, but beware. The huge pines located in the middle of the fairway tend to grab the ball from the intended path to the green. Water protects this hole on the left and short of the green. A strategically placed second shot in front of the left fairway bunker will leave you with the best angle into the green. This third shot from the left fairway must be placed toward the back-middle of the green because the slope will bring the ball back toward the front of the green.
Caution:
-
Water left
- OB right
- Tall pines located in the middle of the fairway
- Water short of green
- Severely slopping green
